Kindness and empathy can be learned at a young age. Michèle, a long time Preschool Teacher, came up with the idea of doing a charitable giving program at her school in December of 2019. Each family was asked to find a colourful box and fill it with unwrapped items that children in need might like to receive. The response was great, and Joy in a Box was born. Michèle has been a teacher in Toronto since 1985 and is the mother of three adult sons.
